Smithsonian Channel kicks off Black History Month with the riveting new docu-series One Thousand Years of Slavery – The Untold Story which premieres Monday, February 7, at 8pm ET/PT. Executive produced by Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance, the four-part limited series uncovers the truth of a 1,000-year story of slavery around the world. To discuss the series is veteran television host, social media influencer, author and One Thousand Years of Slavery – The Untold Story contributor, Shannon LaNier.
